About this Tour

Experience the perfect tour combination in one day trip. Learn a bit of Belize’s history as you ride to the  Xunantunich Archeological Tour. Ride across the Mopan River to the tallest of the ruins that stand at approximately 130 feet high, offering a panoramic view of the region. This site is still being excavated because it continues to yield hidden artifacts and treasures. In 2016, archaeologists unearthed an ancient tomb containing the skeletal remains of what is believed to have been a Mayan leader. Learn about this recent discovery during your visit and also learn about the history by visiting the educational museum situated on site. We take a lunch break before we head over the Caves Branch to float down the cave branch river. This river disappears into a cave system and you will only have a headlamp to light your way. Float past stalagmites and stalactites, waterfalls, and into the spiritual center of the Mayans.
